Different offerings involve different preparation, delivery, access, production, capacity, and third-party costs. Always review the terms displayed when you register, apply, book, sign an agreement, receive an invoice, or complete checkout.
Scope and priority of specific terms
This policy applies generally to purchases and registrations made through The Winners Circle with Jay. A specific checkout policy, event page, invoice, proposal, order form, engagement agreement, or written confirmation may contain different or additional terms.
When specific written terms conflict with this general policy, the specific terms control for that purchase, subject to applicable law.
General review standard
Refund, cancellation, credit, transfer, and rescheduling requests are reviewed based on:
- The specific offer terms accepted at purchase.
- Whether access, delivery, preparation, production, or performance has started.
- Whether capacity, a calendar date, a guest position, advertising inventory, or event seat was reserved.
- Whether third-party fees or nonrecoverable expenses have already been incurred.
- The timing and reason for the request.
- Any mandatory rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
Submitting a request does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduled date.
Webinars, clinics, conferences, and live events
Event registrations reserve access, capacity, communications, and operational resources. Event-specific cancellation, transfer, and replay terms may appear on the registration page or confirmation message.
- Free registrations do not have a monetary refund value.
- Paid-event requests should be submitted before the scheduled event whenever possible.
- Failure to attend does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
- Incorrect time-zone conversion, spam filtering, device limitations, or failure to use the access link are generally attendee responsibilities.
- Where available, a transfer, credit, or replay may be considered instead of a refund.
Replay and attendee-access purchases
Replay access may be limited to a particular ticket type, event, access period, or registered attendee. Once replay or protected digital access has been delivered, activated, viewed, downloaded, or substantially made available, refund options may be limited.
Expiration of an access period does not automatically entitle the attendee to a refund or extension unless the applicable offer terms state otherwise.
Appointments, strategy sessions, and VIP Days
Appointments and VIP engagements reserve preparation time and calendar capacity. Rescheduling and cancellation terms may be stated in the booking confirmation, invoice, proposal, or engagement agreement.
Requests made after preparation has begun, after travel or venue expenses have been incurred, or close to the scheduled date may result in reduced refund options, a rescheduling fee, forfeiture of the booking, or a credit instead of a refund.
In-person travel, accommodation, venue, production, and related expenses may be nonrefundable once committed to third parties.
Coaching, consulting, and transformation programs
Coaching and consulting engagements may involve strategy preparation, reserved capacity, onboarding, document review, systems work, deliverables, platform access, and scheduled sessions.
The applicable proposal, agreement, invoice, or checkout terms determine payment obligations, cancellation rights, notice requirements, unused-session treatment, and any available credits.
A participant’s decision not to attend, implement, complete assignments, use included resources, or continue participating does not automatically cancel amounts already due under a written agreement.
Digital products, downloads, courses, and resources
Digital products may include PDFs, scripts, templates, recordings, course materials, private pages, downloads, workbooks, or other immediately accessible content.
Because digital content can be accessed, copied, or consumed immediately, refund options may be limited after delivery, download, login activation, or access. Defective files or access problems should be reported promptly so we can attempt correction, replacement, or another reasonable remedy.
Books and physical products
Books or physical products purchased from an independent retailer, marketplace, printer, fulfillment provider, or bookseller are subject to that seller’s return, replacement, shipping, and refund policies.
For a direct Winners Circle sale, eligibility may depend on the item’s condition, delivery status, personalization, production status, and the terms presented at checkout. Shipping, handling, customs, or third-party fulfillment charges may not be refundable.
Podcast guest and magazine feature purchases
Podcast and magazine opportunities may involve application review, editorial planning, scheduling, production, research, preparation, design, recording, editing, publication, promotional assets, and reserved inventory.
The applicable application, approval, invoice, checkout page, or written confirmation determines the cancellation and refund terms. Once production, editorial work, recording, design, or scheduling has begun, refund options may be reduced or unavailable.
Approval to participate does not guarantee a specific publication date, audience response, media outcome, lead volume, sales result, or business result.
Advertising, sponsorship, and promotional placements
Advertising and sponsorship purchases may reserve inventory, production resources, publication space, episode placement, event visibility, campaign dates, or promotional deliverables.
Cancellation terms are governed by the applicable proposal, insertion order, sponsorship agreement, invoice, or campaign confirmation. Deposits, creative work, production costs, and reserved inventory may be nonrefundable once committed.
Deposits, installments, and payment plans
A payment plan changes the timing of payment; it does not necessarily convert a total purchase obligation into separate month-to-month purchases.
Deposits, retainers, setup fees, application fees, and initial payments may be applied to preparation, reserved capacity, onboarding, or production and may be nonrefundable when stated in the applicable written terms.
Cancelling a card, bank authorization, or payment method does not by itself cancel a contract or eliminate amounts already due.
Transfers, substitutions, credits, and rescheduling
May be considered before the event when identification, ticket type, and operational requirements allow.
May be offered instead of a refund and may include an expiration date or usage restrictions.
Depends on notice, calendar availability, preparation already completed, and applicable written terms.
May require written approval and completion of updated registration or confidentiality requirements.
Transfers, substitutions, credits, and rescheduling are not automatic and are not redeemable for cash unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Technical problems and access issues
Report technical issues promptly and include the page, event, device, browser, error message, and contact information used during registration.
When a problem is within our reasonable control, we may attempt repair, replacement, restored access, alternate delivery, credit, rescheduling, or another suitable remedy.
Refunds may not be available for problems caused by unsupported devices, local internet service, incorrect contact information, spam filtering, third-party account restrictions, or failure to follow access instructions.
Cancellation, postponement, or material changes by us
We may postpone, reschedule, relocate, replace a speaker, change a platform, modify delivery, or cancel an offering when reasonably necessary.
When we cancel a paid offering and do not provide a reasonably comparable replacement, rescheduled date, credit, or completed portion of the service, the available remedy will be determined by the specific purchase terms and applicable law.
We are not responsible for indirect costs such as travel, lodging, lost work time, equipment, independent contractors, or third-party arrangements unless expressly agreed in writing.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to review the transaction, applicable terms, access records, delivery status, and requested remedy.
A chargeback submitted after valid delivery or contrary to a signed agreement may result in suspension of access, collection activity, submission of transaction records to the payment provider, or other remedies permitted by law.
Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. Consumer-protection, cooling-off, cancellation, or refund rights may vary based on location, purchase method, product type, and applicable law.
This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any specific agreement or checkout terms.
